The Freon™ MO29 refrigerant (R-422D) is a low-toxicity hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) substitute that does not deplete ozone for R-22.
Compatible with traditional and new lubricants, including mineral oils (MO), alkylbenzene (AB), and polyester (POE).
This multi-purpose refrigerant works in existing refrigeration applications at medium and low temperatures, including commercial supermarket systems. Freon™ MO29 is also suitable for stationary air conditioning applications, including water refrigerators.
MO29 extends system life using the same equipment as R-22, so a system with an R-22 leak does not need to be completely replaced or upgraded.
Offers similar capacity and efficiency as the R-22
Provides a lower discharge temperature than that of the R-22, which extends the life of the compressor.
