The refrigerant of Freon ™ MO59 (R-417A) is an alternative of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) for R-22 in direct expansion (DX) stationary air conditioning (DX) and commercial refrigeration systems at medium temperature. Because Freon ™ MO59 is compatible with mineral oils (MO), alkylbenzene (AB) and polyester (POE) – most innovations do not require lubricant replacement. Therefore, reinstalling commercial DX stationary cooling systems and medium temperature from R-22 takes much less time and investment.
Applications for Freon ™ MO59 include residential and commercial AC systems and medium-temperature refrigeration units, such as food service, storage and processing, and supermarket packages.
