Freon™ MO99

Freon™ MO99™ (R-438A) refrigerant is used as a replacement for R-22 without the need to change the oil.

Residential and commercial air conditioning systems (package units and DX units, direct expansion chillers, split systems)
Low- and medium-temperature cooling systems (standalone systems and suspension systems, condensing units)

• Of all the "no oil change" alternative refrigerants, Freon™ MO99™ offers the closest performance to R-22. Freon™ MO99™ is compatible with all traditional and new lubricants, including mineral oil (MO), polyolester oil (POE), and alkylbenzene oil (AB).
• Significantly reduces compression temperatures, which may extend compressor life. This facilitates easy retrofitting, where the technician simply recovers the R-22, replaces critical seals, charges Freon™ MO99™ refrigerant, and monitors for leaks.
