The function of a pressure relief valve is to protect against excessive pressure. For safety reasons.
Applications and features
Henry Technologies pressure relief valves are designed for gas discharge.
The valves are "back pressure dependent" and therefore need to vent to atmosphere.
The brass and stainless steel valves are suitable for use with HCFC, HFC, and CO2.
The stainless steel series valves are suitable for ammonia.
After unloading the valve, it must be replaced with a new one, as it is not possible to guarantee further release.
It is recommended to set the valve pressure to approximately 25% above the maximum operating pressure of the system.
Technical data
All Henry Technologies PRVs are designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME VIII standards.
