Thermal expansion valve

The main function of is to be a resistance to the flow of the cold and thus:

• Lower pressure from condensation to evaporation

• Lower temp from condensation to evaporation

• Maintaining overheating at the entrance to the compressor

The liquid coolant enters the expansion valve and from there, using a small nozzle, regulates the coolant entering the evaporator as a mixture between 70%-90% liquid coolant and 10-30% gaseous coolant.

The greater the amount of liquid, the greater the capacity of the refrigerant to absorb heat from the refrigeration chamber, but the role of the valve is to introduce the exact amount of refrigerant, thereby maintaining overheating and ensuring the return of gaseous refrigerant to the compressor
