A tube axial fan is a type of industrial fan comprising a disk type of wheel or a propeller, which is contained within a cylindrical tube-like structure. This fan is much similar to a vane axial fan, another popular axial flow fan variant, with the only difference that it has no straightening guide vanes
flow rates up to 2,500 m³/h
· size: 100 – 355 mm (tube diameter)
· highly efficient EC technology
· backward curved impellers
· can be used in all mounting positions
· integrated control (EC controller)
· speed is 100% infinitely variable
Casing
The casing is made of galvanised sheet steel. The 40 mm thick mineral fibre plates inserted act as sound insulation. The cover can be simply screwed off making the fan area easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance. The fan inside can be disassembled.
Impellers
The fans are driven by an external rotor EC motor, fitted in the centrifugal impeller. EC Zeroboxes of type EVOLUTION up to size 250 have a forward curved centrifugal impeller, frome size 315 backward curved centrifugal impellers are used. All sizes of type REVOLUTION have backward curved impellers.
Electrical connection
The electrical connection is made through a terminal box mounted at the housing. The built-in motor protection is signalled via a digital output or a pulse output.
Assembly
Rigid folded spiral-seam tube (Spiro), flexible aluminium or plastic tubes with standardised diameter can be used. Zeroboxes can be used in all mounting positions. When used over several floors of a building, the local fire safety regulations must be observed.
